Responsibilities
- Securely transport medical specimens, lab results, and pharmaceuticals between healthcare facilities
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation with real-time tracking updates
- Adhere to strict temperature control protocols for sensitive materials
- Provide exceptional customer service to medical staff and patients
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and ensure proper maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for urgent and time-sensitive deliveries
- Follow all OSHA and DOT safety regulations during transport
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean MVR record
- Minimum 1 year experience in courier or medical transport services
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate clinical environments
- Strong knowledge of Pittsburgh metro area and surrounding counties
