Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, organs, and pharmaceuticals in climate-controlled vehicles
- Maintain precise delivery schedules while adhering to HIPAA compliance protocols
- Document all transfers using electronic tracking systems and chain-of-custody forms
- Verify recipient identity and handle temperature-sensitive materials with extreme care
- Perform vehicle safety checks and maintain clean, organized transport conditions
- Communicate effectively with medical facilities using dispatch technology
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens certification or ability to complete training
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and navigate hospital stairwells/complexes
- Strong time management skills with attention to detail
- Experience in healthcare logistics or medical transport preferred
- Pass background check and drug screening
