Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks for material transport (gravel, asphalt, construction debris)
- Conduct daily pre/post-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes for on-time material delivery to job sites
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Collaborate with site supervisors for seamless unloading operations
- Represent the company professionally at client locations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years dump truck operation experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Charlotte metro area and surrounding counties
- Basic equipment maintenance knowledge
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Commercial driving experience in construction/demolition preferred
