Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport soil, gravel, and construction materials
- Conduct daily pre/post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload materials at job sites with precision
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors
- Maintain clean and organized equipment
- Navigate Baton Rouge metro routes efficiently
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years dump truck operation experience
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with local construction sites and routes
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs
- Strong time management and communication skills
