Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle on a dedicated regional route
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Complete daily inspection reports and maintenance documentation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery schedules
- Represent the company professionally at all client locations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Knowledge of California traffic regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
