Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on dedicated regional routes
- Adhere to strict FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Complete accurate pre/post-trip inspections and log documentation
- Maintain consistent delivery schedules with on-time performance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipments
- Manage cargo securement and ensure proper loading/unloading procedures
- Utilize telematics systems for route optimization and compliance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year OTR or dedicated route experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety compliance
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside troubleshooting
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts and weekends as needed
