Responsibilities
- Drive & Deliver: Safely operate your box truck to transport goods to residential and commercial customers within the Austin area.
- Cargo Management: Secure all cargo properly, ensuring it arrives at its destination in perfect condition.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, ensuring a positive experience from pickup to drop-off.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance to keep your truck running smoothly and legally.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety protocols, and DOT regulations.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery receipts, bills of lading, and daily logs.
Qualifications
- Ownership: You must own a reliable 24' to 26' Box Truck.
- Experience: Proven experience as an Owner Operator or Commercial Driver is preferred.
- License: Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.
- Record: Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and late evenings if required.
- Tools: Have access to a smartphone for dispatch updates and GPS navigation.
