Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for regional routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logbooks
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries within Baltimore metro area
- Maintain clean driving record and professional appearance
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license (minimum 1 year clean record)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic math and communication skills
- Willingness to obtain CDL Class A certification (paid training provided)
- Flexibility for early morning/evening shifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- No prior CDL experience necessary
