Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for weekend delivery routes across Los Angeles County
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to ensure on-time deliveries to commercial clients
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading freight when necessary
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning
- Complete electronic logging systems (ELD) compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Strong knowledge of Los Angeles traffic patterns and delivery zones
- DOT medical certification and required endorsements
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday) is mandatory
