Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for weekend deliveries throughout Chicago metro area
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Perform minor maintenance checks and report mechanical issues promptly
- Navigate efficiently using GPS and route optimization software
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Chicago area traffic patterns and regulations
