Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for weekend delivery routes across Indianapolis and surrounding areas
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding route updates and delivery status
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Knowledge of Indianapolis area roadways and traffic patterns
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
