Responsibilities
- Deliver food, packages, and retail items safely and punctually across Portland
- Verify order accuracy and maintain organized delivery logs
- Provide exceptional customer service during drop-offs and pickups
- Operate company vehicles responsibly and perform basic safety checks
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to meet delivery windows
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and customers
- Collaborate with team members to resolve delivery challenges
Qualifications
- Valid Oregon driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Portland neighborhoods and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Smartphone proficiency for delivery apps and communication
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Food handler's certification preferred (training provided)
