Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in Austin.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols during every route.
- Interact professionally with customers, ensuring a positive unboxing experience.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks or dollies, ensuring proper handling.
- Utilize handheld technology to update tracking information and log delivery status.
- Handle cash or digital payments and provide accurate change when necessary.
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong knowledge of the Austin, TX road network and local geography.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional appearance.
- Basic proficiency with mobile devices and GPS navigation apps.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
