Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages to residential and commercial clients.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured and undamaged during transit.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues.
- Utilize handheld delivery devices to scan packages and confirm delivery status in real-time.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle and perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or standard driver’s license.
- Must possess a clean driving record with no serious traffic violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 70 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Availability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as required.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to follow GPS directions accurately.
- Proficiency with smartphone technology and mobile applications.
