Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods throughout Washington DC metropolitan area
- Plan optimal routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class A or B) or valid driver's license with clean record
- Minimum 1 year of delivery or commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 60 pounds regularly
- Strong knowledge of Washington DC streets and surrounding areas
