Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to deliver packages and materials on scheduled routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness/maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with precision and care to prevent damage
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and clients
- Optimize routes to ensure on-time performance and fuel efficiency
- Complete delivery documentation and handle customer inquiries professionally
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C Driver's License with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of San Jose Bay Area geography
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for delivery tracking systems
- Flexible availability including early mornings and weekends
