Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans on assigned routes throughout Seattle metropolitan area
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Provide exceptional customer service to passengers during transit
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading of cargo and passenger belongings
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delays or incidents
- Complete daily paperwork including mileage logs and delivery confirmations
Qualifications
- Valid Washington State driver's license with clean record (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency with navigation apps and basic vehicle technology
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Seattle geography and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
