Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to deliver packages and goods throughout Philadelphia metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Inspect vehicles daily to ensure optimal safety and performance standards
- Load/unload cargo efficiently while adhering to weight distribution protocols
- Communicate delivery status and route issues to dispatch team in real-time
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations at all times
- Assist in inventory management and warehouse operations as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia area roadways and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Basic computer proficiency for delivery tracking systems
- Customer service-oriented communication abilities
