Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vans to transport goods to designated clients and drop-off points within the Philadelphia area.
- Load and unload merchandise efficiently, ensuring all cargo is secured and protected during transit.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and customer signatures for every stop.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks before and after shifts.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients and handling inquiries.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations or DUIs within the last 3 years.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods.
- Strong knowledge of the Philadelphia road network and local geography.
- Basic computer literacy for digital documentation and GPS navigation.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
