Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vans for package and goods delivery throughout Boston and surrounding areas
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation to ensure timely deliveries
- Load/unload cargo with proper lifting techniques and securement protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class D Driver's License with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Boston streets and metropolitan area
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic math skills for delivery documentation
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred but not required
