Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to transport goods and materials throughout Indianapolis and surrounding areas
- Load/unload shipments with precision and care, ensuring inventory accuracy
- Maintain meticulous delivery logs and documentation for each route
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal safety and compliance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations
- Assist in warehouse operations when not on delivery routes
Qualifications
- Valid Indiana driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience (commercial or delivery preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Indianapolis metropolitan area and surrounding counties
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Pass background check and drug screening (pre-employment and random)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic computer literacy for documentation systems
