Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vans and box trucks to various commercial and residential locations within Austin and the Greater Austin area.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using hand trucks, dollies, and proper lifting techniques.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during every shift.
- Provide outstanding customer service by communicating professionally with clients and handling packages with care.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Update delivery logs and maintain accurate mileage records.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License required (CDL not required for van positions).
- Clean driving record with no major violations (DUI, reckless driving) within the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Strong knowledge of local Austin roadways and traffic patterns.
- Basic computer literacy for logging delivery information.
- Reliable personal vehicle for commuting to the job site.
- Willingness to pass a background check and drug screen.
