Responsibilities
- Transport goods safely and efficiently to designated delivery points.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks or pallet jacks.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries and mileage.
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred but not always required for local van work.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of driving experience in a commercial or delivery capacity.
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic understanding of GPS and navigation systems.
- Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
