Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to deliver packages and goods to NYC locations
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Assist with loading/unloading packages while adhering to safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with clean MVR (no major violations)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience (van preferred)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Deep knowledge of NYC streets, boroughs, and traffic patterns
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Professional communication and customer service abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking
