Responsibilities
- <ul><li>Safely operate commercial vans to transport goods to designated delivery points.</li><li>Load and unload cargo using hand jacks, pallet jacks, and dollies.</li><li>Verify delivery accuracy and obtain necessary signatures from recipients.</li><li>Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle interior and exterior.</li><li>Follow all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.</li><li>Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.</li><li>Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.</li></ul>
Qualifications
- <ul><li>Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.</li><li>Current DOT medical card (or ability to obtain one).</li><li>Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.</li><li>Strong knowledge of the Boston, MA area and traffic patterns.</li><li>Reliable access to a vehicle for company business (if required by policy).</li><li>Strong time management and customer service skills.</li></ul>
