Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to deliver packages and goods across Raleigh metropolitan area
- Plan efficient daily routes using GPS navigation software to meet delivery deadlines
- Maintain detailed delivery logs and obtain proper signatures from recipients
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Load/unload cargo securely and ensure items are handled with care
- Provide outstanding customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Commercial Driver's License (Class B) with Passenger endorsement preferred
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Proficient with smartphone apps and basic navigation technology
