Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vans to deliver freight to residential and commercial customers.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and proper lifting techniques.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork, including electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Provide excellent customer service during every delivery interaction.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized to ensure efficient operations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial driving or logistics.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to follow routes efficiently.
- Basic computer literacy for logging delivery information.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
