Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans for timely delivery of packages and materials throughout Atlanta metropolitan area
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to meet daily delivery schedules
- Load and unload cargo with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each shipment
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all federal/state traffic regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B preferred but not required
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Atlanta metro area roadways
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy for delivery tracking systems
