Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to deliver packages and goods throughout Colorado Springs and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain proper signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting maintenance needs immediately
- Load/unload cargo efficiently while ensuring proper handling of fragile items
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Communicate proactively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delivery issues
- Represent Swift Logistics with professionalism and courtesy at all delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Colorado driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Colorado Springs area and surrounding regions
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy for delivery tracking systems
- Pass background check and drug screening as required by DOT regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent required
