Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and materials within DC metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and scheduling
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
- Load/unload cargo with attention to proper handling techniques
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Class B or higher
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Washington DC geography and traffic patterns
