Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) within NYC metro area
- Deliver freight to distribution centers and client sites on strict timelines
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading when required
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Minimize fuel consumption through efficient route planning
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License
- Minimum 1 year verifiable CDL experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with NYC traffic patterns and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Smartphone with reliable internet access
