Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely for weekend deliveries within LA County
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance coordination
- Optimize routes for timely delivery of diverse cargo
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling
- Maintain electronic logs and delivery documentation
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- 1+ year commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred
- Strong knowledge of LA metro routes
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Weekend shift availability mandatory
