Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, flatbed, or reefers) according to DOT regulations
- Plan efficient routes and maintain accurate delivery logs using telematics systems
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance issues promptly
- Coordinate with dispatchers and clients for seamless load transitions
- Ensure secure cargo handling and timely deliveries to multiple locations
- Adhere to all safety protocols and HOS compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR or regional driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (company-provided)
- Familiarity with Houston metro area and Texas highway systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Basic knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong communication and time-management skills
