Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to designated routes in San Jose and surrounding areas
- Plan and optimize daily routes for maximum efficiency and punctuality
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve delivery inquiries
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to address route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Bay Area geography
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
