Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and goods to customers across Boston and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery records and update delivery status in real-time using our mobile app
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and handle inquiries professionally
- Adhere to traffic laws, safety protocols, and company delivery guidelines
- Manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules and optimize route efficiency
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues and ensure customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience, preferably in delivery or logistics
- Ability to operate GPS navigation systems and delivery tracking apps
- Strong time-management skills with ability to work independently
- Physical ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must pass background check and drug screening
