Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B vehicles for local/regional deliveries
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology
- Verify delivery documentation and signatures
- Maintain vehicle inspection logs and safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch team in real-time
- Handle fragile and temperature-sensitive shipments
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B license (NY State)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no DUIs in past 5 years
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly
- Knowledge of NYC traffic regulations
- DOT medical certification current
- Smartphone proficiency for route apps
- Availability for weekend/evening shifts
