Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for nighttime freight deliveries across Southern California
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS guidelines, and company safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance requirements
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries with precision and route optimization
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging system (ELD) compliance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse teams
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of San Diego and Southern California roadways
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Flexibility for overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM) and weekend availability
