Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Vehicle: Navigate delivery routes efficiently and adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Pickup & Delivery: Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle, ensuring all items are accounted for and in good condition.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, answer questions, and resolve delivery issues with a positive attitude.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, receipts, and paperwork as required by company policy.
- Route Planning: Follow assigned delivery schedules and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid Class C or higher driver's license with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3 years).
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to read maps and delivery instructions.
- Experience: Previous experience in delivery or logistics is preferred but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Reliability: Dependable and punctual with a strong commitment to safety.
