Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles in high-demand night shift operations across Dallas metropolitan area
- Efficiently load/unload packages using proper handling techniques and equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery records via mobile tracking systems and obtain customer signatures
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Provide exceptional customer service during night-time delivery interactions
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions in real-time
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving or delivery experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 60 pounds regularly
- Strong knowledge of Dallas area roadways and neighborhoods
- Flexible availability for overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery apps and communication
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Background check and drug screen required
