Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, organs, and pharmaceuticals in temperature-controlled containers
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols and maintain strict chain-of-custody documentation
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time arrivals
- Perform vehicle safety inspections and maintenance checks daily
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare facilities and patients
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking records
- Respond to urgent pickup requests with 15-minute dispatch readiness
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and navigate stairs in medical facilities
- Proficiency with route optimization apps and mobile scanners
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
