Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, organs, and pharmaceuticals in temperature-controlled containers
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and chain-of-custody documentation
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and strict safety protocols
- Coordinate with hospitals, labs, and clinics for timely pickups/deliveries
- Perform vehicle pre-trip inspections and maintenance checks
- Resolve delivery exceptions with proactive communication
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record (3+ years)
- Medical courier or healthcare logistics experience preferred
- OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens certification (or willing to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate temperature-controlled equipment
- Exceptional time management and route optimization skills
- Proficiency with GPS and delivery tracking systems
- Background check and drug screening required
