Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations within New York City
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure maximum efficiency and on-time performance
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading packages at distribution centers
- Use GPS technology to navigate efficiently through busy city streets
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Driver's License with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of New York City boroughs and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Professional communication and customer service abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
