Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for long-haul and regional routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Manage timely delivery of freight while maintaining optimal route efficiency
- Document trip details accurately using electronic logging systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading processes
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Hazmat endorsement preferred but not required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Georgia roadways
- Excellent time management and communication abilities
