Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks for material transport at construction sites and industrial zones
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and local traffic laws
- Coordinate with site supervisors for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Manage delivery documentation and route optimization
- Maintain clean vehicles and report mechanical issues promptly
- Support safety compliance initiatives and team training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years dump truck operation experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Miami-Dade County road networks and construction zones
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Excellent communication and time-management abilities
