Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles for time-sensitive deliveries
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and NYC traffic protocols
- Plan optimized routes using GPS technology for maximum efficiency
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Deliver goods to commercial/residential locations with exceptional customer service
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Secure cargo and maintain clean, professional vehicle appearance
Qualifications
- Valid CDL (Class A or B) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Expert knowledge of NYC boroughs and surrounding areas
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly
- Pass background check and mandatory drug screening
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- HAZMAT certification preferred
- Experience with temperature-controlled cargo a plus
