Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety.
- Load and unload freight onto trailers and trucks using proper equipment.
- Verify cargo contents and complete necessary delivery documentation.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Card and DOT physical examination certificate.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Strong knowledge of local and regional geography.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
