Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and food deliveries to customers across Oakland using company-provided vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and proof of delivery documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during drop-offs and route interactions
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize delivery routes for efficiency and on-time performance
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Communicate delivery status updates via our mobile tracking system
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during shifts
- Strong knowledge of Oakland streets and navigation systems
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery apps
- Reliable transportation to the starting depot
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexible availability including weekend and evening shifts
