Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles across designated Chicago routes
- Load/unload packages efficiently with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and customer records
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes for maximum efficiency and timeliness
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Proficient with GPS navigation and mobile apps
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Must reside within 30 miles of downtown Chicago
