Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial addresses
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation to maximize delivery productivity
- Verify delivery details and obtain customer signatures when required
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report any incidents or delays promptly
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and communication
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Reliable transportation to and from shift location
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Previous delivery or customer service experience preferred
