Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver freight across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (Illinois or state reciprocity)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation systems
